How it works
It is not a secret: Birds are cautious when choosing where to roost for the night. Their ideal landing spot looks safe and smells like other birds (you know the smell). By eliminating both of these components we discourage birds from landing on your boat.

First we make your boat look unsafe. Through the use of fake preditor animals such as cats, owls, pythons, and even human manikins birds are afraid to land on your boat.

Second we keep your boat clean. It only takes one brave bird to signal the others that your boat is safe. We monitor your boat frequently, clean up any guano, and reposition the dummies.
Why hire a service?
* We will show up frequently.
Life is chaotic; especially in the summer on Cape Cod. You don't get to your boat as often as you plan, we know, that is why showing up is our business. Once the birds strike the effort to go boating is even greater. You are less likely to use your boat and the bird problem exacerbates.
* We clean - you cruise.
Nothing is worse than showing up to your boat with friends only to have it covered in guano. We keep your boat clean. Cleaning the fly-by bombings and occasional brave bird deposits makes our job easier and means you won't show up to a neglected boat covered in guano.
* We have a stockpile of dummies.
Birds get wise to any single deterrent. We have a large variety of dummies that would be impractical for a single boat owner to own and store. You'll have a cat one day and a manikin the next - a python a few days later. This keeps the birds confused and skittish; just the way we want them.
* Spend your boating time boating.
Gull sweeps, streamers, nets, etc are also effective but take time to take down and reset. We remove our apparatus before you get to your boat. We reset them once we see your boat is back.

* Dingy protection.
Want us to leave a dummy for your dingy? We will do so. We will also keep the birds off your dingy while it is on your mooring. This is critical if you are going to be gone for more than a day.
